Another random stoagie from Cigar International’s brown bag, and after a quick google search, a somewhat unknown manufacturer, apparently from Oliva Tobacco Company which I am not sure is the same Oliva that makes the Series-O.

The taste overall remains consistently present with a pepper that may be too much if I had smoked this early on in my cigar experience. At this point, it was a tolerable level, and thankfully the pepper is accompanied by a layer of creamy sweetness. This tasteful package comes in wrapped in a smoky wood flavour, and when retrohaled, more pepper comes to the front demanding attention. This pepper always remains in the aftertaste on the back and sides of the tongue, while the sweetness layers in the middle. If you tongue the end of the cigar you get a very harsh tangy, bitter sourness that won’t go away too easily.

The aroma is hot to the nose and will sting when retrohaled through the nostrils, but it is light on the pepper where a rich, dark cocoa sweetness is more prevalent, with hints of honey and citrus found later halfway through. The unique tobacco blend really comes through in the aroma despite these other layers.

This is an interesting cigar and not ruined by too much peppery bite , but it is a spicy-meatball nonetheless. Not something I would purchase a mazzo of, but a nice change of pace from the usual fair.
