Tabacos Baez is another cigar from the Pepin Garcia and the My Father farms, named after the Cuban city in which Garcia was born.

This Pepin is very light on the pepper, it’s only very subtle on the initial smoke but fades out for the first third. There’s a good smoked meat taste especially when retrohaled, but the pepper always crops up and nips through the nose when exhaled. A nice cedar aftertaste and even a light citrusy sweetness remain in the aftertaste.

The aroma from this is highly enjoyable with a sweet caramel quality carried by a rich, herbal tobacco layer. Some other notes found are chocolate-cocoa powder, and a hint of cinnamon.

This is not a bad cigar, it sure smells excellent, but it’s a bit boring. The smoke is a bit hot to the nose and will nip from the pepper, but it’s quite enjoyable nonetheless. However, it offers nothing else but a good consistency but not a good memory.
