Wonderful World of Wines is definitely a bit of an upscale hangout. They have an opened-porch area at the front of the facility, a wine bar inside with that great rustic feeling you get from being surrounded by large, oak furniture, and a backyard dining area. Not too many people were at the back part, so it was relaxing. A nice small waterfall was to our side at the table we picked.

This Merlot was not a house merlot, I forget the brand. It was ok. For nearly $10 a glass, you’d expect a bit better. It has a mild taste, nothing too sweet or too dry, but not a lot of character. I’d definitely be back again to enjoy more wines here, however, and some food as well.
