Triumph Brewery in New Hope, PA is a favorite must-hit first stop of mine when I visit this awesome town. This Oak Aged Porter on Draft was great. Oak aged beers tend to have a very nice sweetness to them with lots of tastes to discover, just as this fine sample did. Very smooth, not heavy on the typical darker-beer dryness either. It definitely delivers in the Alcohol content as well, being nearly 11% if I remember correctly.

Oak Aged beers don’t last long as they’re usually produced in smaller quantities, but I was glad to have enjoyed this while I could.
