The taste is a warm to the mouth and always carries a nice spicy nip. A nice smoked herbal taste fills the mouth, settling with a nice coffe and nut flavour on the tongue. Retrohaling is a challenge as it kicks up the spice significantly, instantly traveling through the nose, baking it into a warm peppery bread taste with a cocoa powder aftertaste.

I love the aroma, there’s a distinct Honduran quality I am picking up on with other favorite cigars of mine. It’s very herbal and spicy overall with some layers of sweet citrus and fruit. Hot to the nose, the aroma remains constant through the duration of the smoke.

Albeit a hot and spicy stick, the aroma from this cigar is excellent and the type of scent I love from cigars, somewhat reminiscent of my other favorites, the Hoyo de Tradicion, CAO Black & La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especial. While not much in the taste department, I still very much enjoy it and will gladly add this to my top favorites shortlist.
