This cigar very closely resembles another favorite of mine, the CAO Black. It has that interesting range of herbal spices, which is not the same as a spiceyness in terms of harshness. More of an edgy taste all around, but not at all peppery or overpowering.

The aroma is the same. It’s difficult for me to find describing tastes in this and the Black, which is why I enjoy it immensely, but again, the herbal qualities and, I suppose, earthyness, are present.

It’s a tough choice between this and the Black. I will stick to the Black as the prices between these two boxes are the same, and there’s a slightly more stronger presence from the Black possibly due to its Connecticuit wrapper and the 1066’s Cameroon. But this is definitely a great cigar.
