A gift from co-worker Gavin for helping out on a rush emergency project, I enjoyed this ale thoroughly.

I would almost thing of this as a mild IPA. It definitely was hoppy for an ale, but it was very light and not quite bitter by an IPA’s standards. It still retained a mainstay Ale quality about it, being very smooth and well rounded without any one overpowering feature.

It did have a sweet taste to it, especially in the aftertaste. But it was fairly light for what I’m used to, but not so much as a Budweiser or PBR. Much, much better than that of course. It had a slight spicy nip to it that lingered in the mouth.

Well enjoyed on a Friday after a long work week, but not something I’d pick up personally.
