This line of cigar form Cuban Stock may as well have been named Cognac, since they ferment the tobacco for two years in wine barrels. This is pretty neat stuff! Purchased at SJ’s Cigars in Philadelphia.
The taste draws smoothly in with a medium hotness to it, primarily being a dry smoked-meat taste with some woodyness and a hint of cocoa powder and pepper when retrohaled.
The aroma is smooth but also hot to the nose if inhaled too much, but carries a delightfully sweet chocolate-cocoa powder aroma mixed with a mellowed tobacco quality.
Overall, it’s a mild to medium cigar as no one aspect stands out too loudly; it’s a great blend and evenness with a unique tobacco quality to it. They sell 2nd’s of these, which I am going to purchase a pack of, if they carry the same experience as these, they would be an amazing value.
