Our vineyard owners aren’t just our growers; they’re our friends and partners in creating more than 50 different wines each year, from several California appellations. We’re like a collection of 30 small wineries rolled into one large hangar in Alameda, California.
The wine is a nice standalone that’s sweet and smooth. The initial sip delivers a nice sweet coating to the mouth that melts away leaving a nice sweet grape taste with some dryness around. There’s a pepper like quality to it but it’s not spicy or harsh; not sure how to describe it, but it’s a nice addition to the sweetness. While it does leave the mouth pleasantly dry, it also leaves a nice herbal sweet aftertaste that just wants you to quaff more. It’s not a particularly outstanding wine, but it is very enjoyable nonetheless.
Addendum: This wine is responsible for a headache the next day, I’m very certain. I nearly never get headaches!
